Ilknur graduated with Master of Arts in Architecture and is working as a freelance concert photographer living in Germany.

Having a special focus particularly on drummer photography, she accompanies drummers on tour to work with them in the pit as well as on stage.

Fast movements, poor lighting, blurring sticks or disappeared faces behind the drumset combined with professional quality shots are a challenge additional in band photography. 2015 she decided to go more into the depths of concert photography especially to test her limits as a drummer photographer.
